#muscat is a very special place for me.
It's a place that I fell instantly in love with.
I first visited Muscat when I was dating my boyfriend, who lived and worked in Muscat. .
I think one of the main reason I said " Yes" to him when he proposed marriage was because, I wanted to live in Muscat. Start a new life in a place so real, beautiful, laid back, with no high rises, no urgency to go anywhere, do anything, no point to prove to the world, nothing flashy, nothing extravagant, just sea, sky, mountains, untouched, loved, and a culture so fine, the locals so warm, so welcoming, the Vibes - so soulful.. Like a paradise. .
I left my workaholic life at #mumbai, I left the traffic, the noises, the ambition to be the fastest rat in the rat race in the maze of a mega city with millions chasing their dreams, and happily moved to Muscat. .
I laid the solid foundation to my marriage, at a place so happy where life comes before work. Got pregnant, delivered my daughter and raised her till she became a toddler with my husband, at a place so nurturing, so calm, and so life friendly! .
@ourglobetrotters asked me to contribute to an article, by suggesting my favorite place to visit from Dubai, on a #longweekend. I obviously suggested Muscat. .
The link ✨to the article is in my bio, and I highly recommend you read it, and plan your next holiday soon at some great #dubaigetaway .
What's your favorite place to travel near Dubai? Tell me. .
