Lost & Found Home  Working out my need for beauty + functionality in our 890 sq foot 1930's Virginia farmhouse. My style is a juxtaposition of east and west coast vibes.

When your best friend is also a floral photographer and travels 7+ hours from a shoot in NY, straight to your house to babysit your sick kid, with gorgeous flowers in hand....you know you hit the BFF lottery😍 Thanks for the amazing bouquet to brighten this cold, overcast weekend @agirlnamedleney

homemade cards and berry muffins for love day💓

Been feeling in a bit of a slump with these cold & rainy days lately. But Taylor brought home these happy lil fellas last night and I'm reminded that spring (and eventually my fav- summer🌞) WILL come🌻🌻🌻Why is it that winter seems to last forever and summertime seems to vanish in a snap?

My darling husband put this shelf up for me last weekend and I love having a little coffee station☕️ Open shelving is sooo easy to install, costs almost nothing AND makes such a big difference aesthetically and functionally. Would def recommend✌️

Also I couldn't resist, same space but with a cute baby Hank and no filter. Sometimes real life is just the best anyways.

What makes you feel mentally refreshed?
For me, it's having a clean house. I don't always succeed in keeping it clean, but when I do I feel like I have more space and energy to serve others, be a better mom and wife, and be creative. It's hard for me to go out feel good about other parts of my life when my living space is in shambles.
Sometimes the simplest task, like making my bed, can be a totally attitude reset for my day.
Tell me how you motivate yourself to keep your space clean!

Spent the majority of yesterday rearranging almost every single piece of furniture in my house. Do I have a problem?😅🙋🏼
In a tiny house, I'm constantly trying to maximize a minimal amount of space. I love days when I get that creative spark, and can transform a room(s) with nothing new- just simply changing and moving what I currently have. If you're on a tight budget like me, shop from your own home! Anyone can go out and buy new, pretty things but using what you have and making it feel fresh and new again is what I love the most. ✨

Monday goal: be the one apartment with a dozen happy cacti outside the windows in a sea plain old buildings. 🌵🌵🌵
Still dreaming about those San Antonio vibes from our trip a week back. Warm weather + any place where cactus grow naturally = a place I feel at home🌞

It's been a quiet, snuggly day here. My baby boy is sick, which breaks my heart, but I'm also enjoying soaking up all these cuddles. 💙

It's watering day🌱🚿🌵 Also pretty positive this is the most succulents I've been able to keep alive at one time🤞🏻#growbabiesgrow #plantmama #notreallybuttrying #succulentfriends

Ok I never post pictures outside of our home here, but this airbnb we're staying at in San Antonio is too cute! I've always loved old Victorian homes and love how they preserved this right in the middle of the city💙 Oh and they have chickens and make fresh eggs for breakfast in the morning- major bonus!🐓

Hank got a teepee for Christmas from grandma and we have been loving reading books and playing under it! Is it too big for his tiny room and blocking the closet? Yes. But I'm finding that functionality over design is often best these days. ✨😅
