TBT: Live at Luse Lottes Pub, Oslo, Norway May 4, 1994 (I hear it’s called Café Sor today). This is probably one of the most historically important live pictures that I have with Dark Funeral from the early days. Not only is it shot during our very first live show which took place on May 4, 1994. This was also the very same day we received our self-financed and self-titled debut MCD from the CD- plant too, which we naturally brought with us to Norway and made available to buy for the very first time.

As we just had completed the 4 songs that appears on the MCD, we didn’t really have much more material to offer to the Norwegian crowd (which was mixed with a lot of Swedes), but to extend the set just a little bit, we decided to also play an early version of the song “The Secrets Of The Black Arts”, which at that time wasn’t completed musically or lyrically. It didn’t even have a name. And if I remember correct, Themgoroth made up a name right before we start playing it. This was a 2 or a 3 days festival. We played the first or second night with the band Hades (which later changed the name to Hades Almighty I believe!?). The night after us Enslaved, Marduk & Dissection played. Good times no doubt!

TBT: Here's a picture that originally was published in one of the biggest Swedish newspaper DN (Dagens Nyheter), taken at a gig we did on May 25, 1996 at a classic venue called Studion, which were located on St.Eriksplan in Stockholm, Sweden. It was a killer venue that hosted many great bands in the 90's. The venue doesn't exist anymore though. Anyway, this was a promotional gig we did for our "The Secrets Of The Black Arts" album. And since the pressure were that high, we even did two shows that day, one during the day without age restriction, and one from 18 years and up, with the bar open. We played with the band Unanimated and I remember that Satyr from @satyriconofficial was on visit too to promote their Nemesis Divina album. Good times indeed. And even though we have made new crosses for the stage, we still have the cross(es) in this picture in our possession. Last time it graced the stage in this fabolous manner, was during our 20 years anniversary show we did 5 years ago at Klubben, Stockholm.

Latin America they say. Hell fucking yeah I say. What do you say? Lets see where this land.....

Lunch with the king...

Wow, so much action on my #regrann post yesterday, which was just an amusing picture I was tagged in. Now I'll definately need a big cup of coffee to read through all the comments while I listening to the new track by @immortalofficial...goodmorning btw!

Interesting..... ------------------
Regrann from @headbangrworld@kingdiamondofficial, Papa from @thebandghost and Lord Ahriman of @darkfuneralofficial ...Now THIS is an unholy trinity for real. Right?! #ghost #kingdiamond #darkfuneral #theunholytrinity #regrann

Regrann from @mariellet - I know black metal bands usually wander around in the deep dark forests of the north, but sometimes they do come out to enjoy the Swedish idyllic summer too 🇸🇪 Recording promos with @lordahrimanofficial of @darkfuneralofficial this morning. Always a pleasure! 🤘 - #regrann
