P R O C E S S | The picture I put on social media Vs. The picture I almost didn't share. It's a lot of fun trying to make perfect shapes for perfect little squares but if I didn't share both of the photos you probably wouldn't know that this is the first time I've caught my foot in this pose without a warm up (cheers slightly too big trainers for helping me out here). P R E A C H | it's my new favourite time of the week again. It's that time where I get to teach teenagers and share things with them that I wish I had known when I was their age. It's so strange thinking how I used to only consider the physical sides of health and now I'm totally obsessed with making my mental health as strong as possible. We all lie on a spectrum of good physical health ranging from good to bad with a whole load of grey area in the middle and it can change daily, mental health is no different! What are your best ways to strengthen your mental health & what do you wish you could say to your teenage self? Give me some new ideas!

Y O U G U Y S | Sometimes I worry about my use of social media. I can lose hours in a scroll, what started off as a 'quick look' ends up with me on the profile of a friend of a friend of a friend's aunt's cat (always the cats) and I have actually no idea how I've got there and how to get out without accidentally liking a photo from 2 years ago. Sometimes I worry about sharing personal details of my life alongside all the upside down, fitness stuff, knowing that anyone can see and read it and is free to cast a judgement about me. But then sometimes I do share and you guys remind me exactly why I love this platform. Thank you so much for all of your messages of emotional & practical support after my car crash on Sunday, it really did put everything in perspective and reminded me what an amazing community is here on Instagram. You guys are the best πŸ’™βœŒοΈ

P O S I T I V E | side effects of a near death experience is that they are the best ever reminder for grabbing the people you love and squeezing them a bit tighter. So I'm sorry if you come across me in the next few days and I put you in some kind of emotional headlock πŸ’ In other news, I don't like to wish days away but the count down to Bali with this one is seriously underway- 13 days to go πŸ™Œ Send me all of your best bali recommendations people, I've got 2 weeks of exploring to do!πŸ’™

L U C K Y | Feeling all YOLO right now, it feels like the universe is really doing its best to make me appreciate this body I'm in. A bulging disc, a misaligned vertebra and now mostly likely whiplash. Nothing like being rear-ended (ooer) and having your car written off on a motorway to feel really incredibly lucky to be able to walk away in one piece. Ordinarily I'm only motivated if my goals involve pushing my body to the limit, learning new tricks and constantly 'improving' πŸ’ͺ Not meaning to sound like a total Wβš“οΈ but I'm trying to take these injuries as a chance to appreciate all the things my body does for me rather than the things it can't.
