Graduated college yesterday feeling exactly what my cap stated😁. My college journey has indeed been an interesting one. Maybe I'll save the story for a blog post but what I will say is that I am truly blessed for the people I have in my life. The constant encouragement when I felt lost and confused to always pushing me and praising my accomplishments. I walked into FIT feeling discouraged when I found out that I would have to start my college journey from the beginning (transferring from Cuny to Suny struggles) but I walked out with an A.S.S in Fashion Merchandising Management and a B.S in Direct and Interactive Marketing/minor in sociology. On top of that I did something I thought I would never have done even up until the minute I boarded the plane. Studying abroad in Spain and visiting Portugal was something that I didn't think I would ever do nor have the opportunity to do. It was a huge step out of my comfort zone but sparked my love and appreciation for traveling.
As college graduates and even those still in college, I won't tell you to never compare your journey to others because at some point we all do ( I did and sometimes I still do) but when you start to, just remember that WHAT'S FOR YOU IS YOURS!
Btw LL Cool J congratulated me and told me to be great 😩. Now that was a great way to end my undergrad journey. I can't wait to see what's next😊 #fitgrad #marketing #blessed
