A big thank you to all who came down to celebrate my 21st yesterday! To those still considering whether or not to have a 21st birthday party, I offer the following three reasons to celebrate:
.
1. To celebrate life - in the midst of our busyness, we often neglect to take time out just to relax, chill, and enjoy life together with the people who really matter. All of you guys who came down have made a mark in my life and inspired me in one way or another, and this party, with the games, food and desserts, was my way of saying thank you :)
.
2. To celebrate adulthood - the age of 21 has traditionally been defined by society as the age when boys become men. While somewhat arbitrary, it is also true that around this age, most of us transition to adulthood. We explore, challenge our childhood perceptions of the world, and change as we eventually come up with a coherent worldview with values and convictions that will (hopefully) take us through the rest of our lives and help us live with a sense of purpose. Why celebrate this transition from childhood certainty to adult conviction? Because, while the transition is sometimes confusing, often frustrating and very tiring, it is also ultimately fulfilling.
.
3. And lastly...presents!!!!!! (Hahaha but really, thanks for the thoughtful presents guys ☺️☺️☺️)

Super great breakfast! It's just a pity I find them a year later when they are about to close and I'm about to finish my JC journey. But I guess we can still support them at botacs! Hot dark chocolate, fries and basic work is great! The portion is big and price is reasonable πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹
