This is my redwood. About 25 years ago, a group of us kiddies were given redwood saplings on Earth Day. I haven't paid it a visit in a few years, and really needed to stop by. Early in its life, a strong storm (like the one recently experienced here in the bay area) uprooted it a bit. My father helped to right its posture again, but it retained a large kink in its trunk. Humpback no more, it has shed the kink and grown to new heights. If anyone ever cuts this down, I will come looking for them.
