This was the first photo I took, a day after it happened. I thought this was worst, didn't know the devastation was far more than I could imagine. Lives were taken, families were left with no homes and no food. Individuals tried to survive not for themselves but for their loved ones. I don't know why but I never posted a picture from what happened, I just couldn't. Not till today.
This is for our faithful departed brothers and sisters who will always be remembered. To all families and friends who helped us, we will always be grateful. To all the generous givers and volunteers from around the globe. To all the survivors who fought, stand strong, and rebuild. And most especially to our Heavenly Father who sustained us in every step of the way.
But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side but not crushed; perplexed but not in despair, persecuted but not abandoned; struck down but not destroyed. (2 Cor 4:7-9)
