Today I struggled mentally. I realized I am not quite as tough as I used to be. I got frustrated several times during our workout bc things weren't going to plan. I rarely struggle on a sled; but today I did. I learned from the experience, exposed another weakness so I'll take it as a win! #crossfitlaminin #getoutside #oakmountain #savageswim #tenperformance #virusintl #instagrambham

Lunges,high volume DU, and performing gymnastics with a high HR are significant holes in my game. I vowed to train these weakness and not let them defeat me. A common denominator in these movements is my breathing patterns. Every day I open my sessions with a warmup cyclical/ skill. Each day looks different- varying in movements and different aerobic thresholds. Today's workout began with 4x50ft dball lunges. @seanhiller_physio explained the dball lunges force me to work on my breathing while stabilizing my core and moving in unilateral squat motion. Then completed a 100cal assault with every 2 min 5c2b- followed by 6 min emom of 30 du + 7c2b. Shown here are last sets of each. Tuesday tip: embrace your weaknesses. #crossfitlaminin #vp2r

Had to get creative this morning with breakfast! Egg and veggie nachos for the win! 100g baked chips, 1 cup egg plant and Brussel sprouts, 5 egg whites and 1/2 cup cottage cheese.

The bike has been the single most beneficial component in my training over the past year. I was able to bike during my injury and recovery, it has helped me over come conditioning plateaus, and it shapes your mental capacity like nothing else. So for your Tuesday tip- RIDE! #biggirlliketoride
