YAAAAY! My best friend is getting married and I finally get to be in a wedding!!! 😂🎉💙💍👯‍♀️👰🏻

CONGRATS!!!! My sweet cousin is graduating high school and I couldn’t be more proud/sad because he’s going to school in Colorado. 😢
I’m praying that God challenges you and stretches you and pushes you out of your comfort zone, because that is where we are forced to come to terms with the fact that all we have is Christ. I know that you’ll share the love of Christ no matter where you go, Austin. LOVE YA!!!
Also I love Kasey Tye so so much 💕

I don’t know where I’d be with out my mom... .
But I do know I hit the MOTHER lode when I got her as my mom!!! 💜✨

Ate some tacos, saw a great show, ran into DBU pals, laughed a lot and had some late night McDondalds. Last night was the most fun!!

“The Lord is my strength and song; HE has become my salvation. This is my God, and I will praise him, my fathers God, and I will exalt him.” -Exodus 15:2
After God parted the Red Sea for the Israelites, they stopped and worshipped Him with a song, because they had been rescued from a situation that they had no ability to save themselves from. God proved to them that He alone was the one true God and that He alone saved them. He became their salvation. As Easter approaches, lets make time to stop and worship the one who is our salvation. Let’s worship the God who saved us from a situation that we had no ability to save ourselves from. Let’s praise Him for sending Christ and then raising Him from the dead, defeating the power of sin and death. This is our God! Let us exalt Him!

So I got the incredible opportunity to go to Honduras with the student ministry this week, and it is such a beautiful country! We got to lead VBS, paint a church, install sinks for families in need, work alongside the local church, give out rice and beans and corn meal, share testimonies, and see clear pictures of how God is moving in Honduras. I am so proud of our students for giving up most of their spring break, and for working so tirelessly with minimal complaining. The Holy Spirit taught all of us a lot this week, and I’m confident that He will continue to teach us! Honduras was a refreshing break from the stresses of home, and a sweet reminder that the peace we had their is available to us no matter where we are. Also, super sad I can only add 10 pictures. 🇭🇳 #harmonicas #unity #proudmom #happybirthdaybowen

Y’all, this is Kirby. It’s her 21st birthday today, and she’s one of my best friends, so I’m gonna take some time to brag on her. She has been such a huge blessing to me this past year or so! Everyone who knows Kirby knows that she is hardworking and dedicated and inspiring, and I absolutely LOVE that about her, it challenges me to give everything my all! But she is also kind hearted and patient and encouraging. She loves people and loves to make them laugh. She is passionate about the Lord and spreading His name. She helps me embrace my inner egg, and encourages me to be confident in who the Lord has made me. She has the flyest dance moves (see video) and the freshest style. She is the most beautiful egg I’ve ever had the joy of knowing. Who even knew eggs got so pretty??? So if you don’t know Kirby Minnick, you’re missing out big time. I love you so much Kirby, and I mean that! I’m eternally grateful for your life giving friendship! 🎉💕🍰🎊 #friends4life #ilovegod time as a DBU student has come to an extremely bittersweet end. These past 2 and a half years have been some of the most incredible years of my life. I came to DBU in the Lords perfect timing and I am leaving in His perfect timing. I have learned so so much while at DBU, too much to put into a post. But in summary, I’ve learned that living with people can be really hard and also really amazing, I’ve learned so much about Gods grace towards us, I’ve seen and learned about what it means to truly lay down your life and serve others. Y’all, I could go on and on about how insanely blessed I am by all the sweet friends I’ve made over these past years. Thank you to ALL my friends, even if we only spoke briefly, you are so valued. A few tears were shed on the car ride home, but I am overwhelmed by Gods peace as I walk into this new season of life! I am so expectant and excited. Please don’t think this is the end of my time at DBU though, because I only live 40 minutes away!!! Please reach out if you need anything or if you miss me and want to hang. Special shout out to all my roommates over the years, Sigma Chi Eta, and the DBU science department. I LOVE DALLAS BAPTIST UNIVERSITY!!! #dbuishome ❤️💙

P.s. I just learned you can only tag 20 people in a post so sorry if I didn’t tag you 😂😅
