from sony | to spotify
#sponsored My Dad gave me my first yellow Walkman in the late 80s. Suddenly, I could listen to my own favorite music on the go. It was a big game changer in how I consumed music back then. I started spending hours in my childhood room creating my own cassette tapes with my favorite music. It was a very slow analogue process because you had to put the cassette tape into your tape recorder and record music by pressing ‘push’ when the song started on the radio and ‘finish’ when the song finished. Needless to say, that sound was terrible, but it was a fun process.
Then, things changed when the CD’s came, and soon the cassette tape became a thing of the past. And then there was a moment in 2000s when Apple introduced the iPod and suddenly I could buy one single song and download it and create my own playlists. And then the CD’s became a thing of the past.
When @Spotify was introduced in the late 09’ in Denmark. I joined shortly after and haven’t looked back since. Having access to millions of songs on demand when I want them fits perfectly fits my very variated music taste. As an avid Spotify user, I consumed several hours on a daily basis listening to music when I am at home, commuting to work or when I am out shooting in the city. Since @Spotify’s first language is the playlist, here’s my top 3 track-by-track for making my day brighter and getting the party moving. Avenir by French artist Louane, Night Time by Japanese The Fin. and Church And Law by the Danish group When Saints Go Machine.
Happy listening .
