10 races, 4 events, 4 team mates, 3 silvers, 1 gold and a whole lot of people supporting all of the above. World champs 2018 you have been a blast, it was a game of close finishes, excitement and a whole lot of team work. An entire year spent just to perfect a few minutes of racing. Huge thanks to the team who stay dry, and big thanks to the girls who make events like this pretty special @caitlintryan@kaylaimrie@aimeejoyfisher#yougogirl#amazozian#wonderwomen
The nerves, butterflies... that’s what World champs feels like. 😬 World champs 2018 start tomorrow 23rd August. Race schedule for me starts with the k1 500 heat at 1041 local time, 941pm NZ time. We hit out the team boats with @caitlintryan and I in the K2 500 heat at 1159 local, 1059pm NZ. Support me and the NZ team by watching live link in bio. I’ll also be racing the k1 200 and k4 500 with @aimeejoyfisher, @kaylaimrie and @caitlintryan over the weekend. Keep a look out and I will keep you posted.
Italy... 31 degrees... a little different to NZ winter. Just arrived in Pusiano to begin the last 5 weeks into World champs. 2.5 weeks here then off to France 🇫🇷 before racing in Portugal. #pasta#affogato#icfsprint#jetlag
What a whirl wind weekend in Duisburg at the 2nd World Cup. 3 golds, with @caitlintryan@aimeejoyfisher and the Cole train Rebecca. Great support from the girls off the water and the boys (and girls) who carry the boats but most importantly help us get on the water in great shape. Now we travel home to some cool weather, but I am super excited to get back training for the World champs. Bring on Portugal #canoesprint#girlpower#wonderwoman#NZproud
World cup racing is here and it always starts with 24hrs+ of travel. Arriving in the best possible shape to battle the jet lag is key. World Cup 1 is in Szeged, Hungary on the 18th-20th May, with WC2 in Duisburg, Germany 25th-27th. But first a week of training in Italy 🇮🇹 #singaporeair#recovery#excited
