Guidance and personal cards for day 22 of the January Tarot challenge. My pain does not define me - This is my medicine.
🦁
Today we draw two cards in relation to pain and medicine. This does not only tell us we are stronger than our pains, it will also show how to deal with them or what to focus on instead. You are free to draw clarifying cards if the cards you draw raise questions.
πŸ’€
"The truth is, unless you let go, unless you forgive yourself, unless you forgive the situation, unless you realize that the situation is over, you cannot move forward." Steve Maraboli

What do you have a hard time dealing with? And did your cards give solid advice? Let me know in the comment section below.

πŸ–€
Challenge guidelines:
πŸ–€
I try to keep my challenges beginner friendly, this way, if you are aΒ #tarotnewbieΒ you can get comfortable with using the Tarot as a daily divination tool. The January Tarot challenge does not require you to join or post each day. You are welcome to join in on the days/prompts you resonate with, of course you are more than welcome to join everyday. You can also choose to group multiple days in one post. Use the hashtagΒ #thefebruarytarotΒ with your posts. I can only see public posts so feel free send me a DM if your page isn't public. If you have any questions now or during the challenge, don't hesitate to send me a message or leave a comment below. I am always around to help thought it might take me a bit to reply.
πŸ–€
I create my challenges for fun, naturally I hope you have fun with them too, or that they, at least, give you something to think about. That's it! I'm looking forward to your posts.

Love and blessings,
Mr. Lionharts
🦁

I'm working on preparing #thefebruarytarot challenge today, but wanted to share my personal draws for the Pentacles weekend before I get back to it.
🦁
The Page asks to use my King of Swords to reach The Emperor. This speaks of making balanced decisions with the end goal in mind.
🎴
The Ace shows the other half of the couple, The Empress, she indicates that the way of nurture eventually reaches the Nine of Pentacles.
πŸŒ…
Together these cards show an approach that means making ambitious decisions for my best wellbeing, both for now and for the long run.
πŸ–€
Pretty solid read I'd say. Back to the grind for me. Never a dull moment.

When you enjoy Tarot as much as you love art.
πŸ–Ό
To those new to my feed I'll share again, I studied art history and digital media design {college/uni}, I love all forms of art {even architecture and street art}, but I am a big fan of Pre-Raphaelite, Victorian, Edwardian, Art Nouveau, Baroque, Rococo, Classicism and Renaissance art {bit much to cram in a bio isn't it}.
🎨
I tend to not read much with art and artist homage decks, but they are pocketsize pieces of art {the latter goes for all well crafted decks}.
🎴
What is your reason for buying {certain} decks {other than being totally irresponsible when it comes down to buying decks, like me πŸ˜†}? What do you pay attention to? And is there a specific card you always check first before buying a deck {I always check the Strength and The Hermit card}?

It's finally Friday. I spent the evening in one of my favorite esoteric stores and just got home {it's past 11 pm}. If you're a more recent follower, I live in Europe {Holland}.
🦁
My personal reading for today is pretty straightforward. Focus on my divine connection, embrace my Strength and enjoy what makes me happy.
🌌
It's been a crazy busy week. Time to relax a little. I plan to watch some shows, listen to music and read. If you have any suggestions for TV shows let me know in the comment section below {I enjoy Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, Peaky Blinders, Vikings, Outlander, Dark Mirror}. I'll also be working on #thefebruarytarot challenge this weekend.

What have you been up to? And what are your Friday evening/weekend plans?

Guidance for day 19 of the January Tarot challenge. The good focus: Embrace this - Enjoy this.
🦁
Let's start the prelude to the weekend positive shall we? "Whatever good things we build end up building us." Jim Rohn
🎴
For today draw two cards in answer to the prompts: Embrace this - Enjoy this. In addition you can draw a card for: The good focus. If you get a negative card and it typically applies to the bad in your life right now, focus on the opposite and read the card as: A day without this. Burdens can be draining. It is important to take time to nourish the Soul and recharge so that we can continue the journey strong.
πŸ–€
What cards did you draw today? Did they resonate? Feel free to share in the comment section below.

I believe in synchronicity. And thus when a deck with a name like White Sage Tarot arrives on a day where I am supposed to draw cards for a prompt about self-love and self-care, I embrace the signs.
🦁
Day 18 of the January Tarot challenge. The kindness: I give, I deserve.
⭐
The Star in its most basic meaning is a card of hope. Now I am not a saint, but I am aware that the guidance I give helps people on their journey. This has nothing to do with me personally, I just offer you tools to understand your path. You are the one making the steps.
🌞
The Sun is the card of my Zodiac sign. And it is true, that, as often as I try to give light to others, I can be neglecting in the self-care area. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love myself 100%, I just don't always take the time to take as good care of myself as I should.
🌚
Wonderful first read with this deck. I'm looking forward to work with her more, but I shall give her an interview first {this weekend}.
πŸ–€
Before I go can we take a moment to appreciate the beautiful wrapping skills of Theresa Hutch, creator of the White Sage Tarot {slide 2}.

Guidance for day 18 of the January Tarot challenge. The kindness: I give, I deserve.
🦁
It is important to not ignore the self when we take care of others. Today we look at where we might have been neglecting the care of self and what we should watch or look after in relation to that. Be prepared for karmic messages.
πŸ–€
Today draw two cards in relation to the prompts:
The kindness I give.
The kindness I deserve.
If you manage to get a negative card. Ask yourself: Do I deserve to get past this energy? Does this energy apply to my life right now? If yes, then you could draw an extra card asking: How do I get past this? Or: How do I apply this?
πŸ–€
Don't put thoughts into the world of what you don't deserve or that you're not good enough. By sending out such signals the Universe can only answer that energy and the whole thing will become a self-fulfilling prophecy. Actively manifest what you deserve and it will come your way.

When you're at your mother's place and you didn't bring your own deck...
🦁
I ended up raiding her woo woo space for some divination tools. Just so it's said she is perfectly okay with this. I am using her Eye of Horus hieroglyphs, her Tao box and her Soulcards to get an idea of the New Moon energy I can work with.
πŸŒ‘
Plan
Horus represents vision, communication and harmony. He is the son of Isis and Osiris.
πŸŒ…
Prepare
Osiris represents power, Universal force, fertility and eternal life. He is the son of Geb and Nut.
🌌
Start
Isis represents dedication, devotion, loyalty and the magic{k} within and around. She is the Divine Mother. She is the daughter of Geb and Nut.
🎴
The Tao cards I received were: Beautiful harmony, roots and branches, trust and love. The Soulcards have no set meaning. I'll meditate on the messages and see how they align with draws of my own deck when I get home.

Guidance for day 17 of the January Tarot challenge. The New Moon: Plan - Prepare - Start.
🦁
"There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth; not going all the way, and not starting." Buddha
πŸŒ‘
Today we draw cards for a spread looking at the energy we can work with during this Moon cycle. Capricorns have a great focus on goals and plans/planning, so it's wise to make good use of this energy.
🎴
You can draw one extra card for the general New Moon energy and three cards to answer the questions:
What do/should I plan?
Where do I {begin to} prepare?
Where should I start?
🌌
If any card is unclear ask a specific why or how question and draw a card to clarify. Feel free to discuss the New Moon, your draws or ask questions in the comment section below.
