It has been interesting to watch what is happening in the US with @katyperry and her new music. I like it. It is as good as her other work. CTTR was smartly written. Has her political embracing of Hillary Clinton wounded her here? Or it could be that plus the new hair style? Or it may simply be what happens to female pop stars as they pass 30...they begin to fade into the background bit by bit, so to speak? Like Madonna has? Madonna's last album and tour were great but the album/songs did not chart that well... I like Bon Appétit 🍒 It's funny, fun, fluffy ear candy. Just what you'd expect from Katy Perry, while adding some sexy to it. I bought it🍒I hope it goes to #1 and stays there awhile.
What do you think? Have Katy Perry's politics hurt her? Or is the music not as appealing now? Or, is this what happens to women in their early thirties - meaning they don't sell product in the US like women in their teens and twenties do? Essentially: Don't Politics and Pop Music mix? Is the music not good? Do super short haircuts in women hurt record sales? Does age of the artist have to matter in Pop Music?
I want to hear this song in full. Maybe he'll publish a complete version sometime soon🤞#Repost@lionessinus ・・・ I am really anticipating this song. Hurry up @johnmayer 😩#Repost@johnmayer ・・・ Let's have fun and share the music we make. Gone are the days of the dramatic unveiling. This is what I worked on today and it put a big smile on my face.
