Have you ever gotten the feeling of empathy for someone else, so much so that you are directly effected by what is happening to them? I know I am super sensitive to other people, but when bad things happen (even to people I don't know), I am almost always triggered by it.
This leads me to a story. It made me realize that we really don't have forever to make things happen for ourselves. Maybe the reality check I just got, you can benefit from to?
A man that I work with had his little girl pass away last night. She was 3. I don't want to spread negativity or sadness, but I want you to think about this.
You (and I) are SO lucky to be here. You are lucky to have the ability to grow, learn and evolve. Are you going to let things control and destroy you or are you going to say FUCK THAT and move forward? Here are some thoughts:
1) Let me be very clear. You are the only person responsible for your own happiness. Not your mom, not your husband, not your boss.... YOU. I know it's fun to blame, but you get the final say.
2) Quit feeling sorry for yourself. If you feel sorry for yourself, your only whining about not being brave enough to take control of your life.
3) BE GRATEFUL. Live every day feeling gratitude for all the good and all the bad. You are alive, that is good enough.
Make the decision right here, right now to STOP whining, stop with the excuses and stop feeling sorry for yourself. Someone out there has it worse than you, and you need to change your mindset.
It is far to often that I hear excuse after excuse. Take advantage of your life and make the change you want to make!
