"We don’t always know the details of our future. We do not know what lies ahead. We live in a time of uncertainty. We are surrounded by challenges on all sides. Occasionally discouragement may sneak into our day; frustration may invite itself into our thinking; doubt might enter about the value of our work. In these dark moments Satan whispers in our ears that we will never be able to succeed, that the price isn’t worth the effort, and that our small part will never make a difference. He, the father of all lies, will try to prevent us from seeing the end from the beginning."
-President Dieter F. Uchtdorf

Stacy and I bonded when she broke her back and then we flew to Hawaii the next day and just like she handles everything in life, handled it like a champion. Today she was beaming and I'm so happy for her! Congrats, Clark and Stacy!

Spring weather in May can be so funny. Good thing I'm a forgiving person.

Sharing a beautiful July wedding on the blog today! While I was going through these photos, all I could think about was how hot it was that day. These two didn't complain one bit. July weddings aren't for the weary, but for these two it was a perfect day.

Go out and explore Utah! It's kind of the best. (In my opinion)
Also, give me all the springtime hikes I can do before all the canyons are completely open!

"No love in mortality comes closer to approximating the pure love of Jesus Christ than the selfless love a devoted mother has for her child."
Jeffrey R. Holland

A Saturday off means a day in the mountains.

One of my favorite views. I still can't believe I live ten minutes from here!

A few years ago I met Lizzy at a wedding (she was making all the cupcakes in the world and I was photographing) and we clicked instantly. After years of complaining about boys together I was so excited to capture her getting engaged last night! Also how beautiful is that backdrop?!

"Miracles require faith and generally some amount of courage and hope on our part as well as trust that God will always do His part. We must also remember that God’s ways are not our ways. His response to a given situation might be different than what we want to have happen. In addition, the timing of His response could vary greatly from our expected timing. Yet in all cases, God’s involvement in our lives is carefully crafted to bring about the greatest good. For “he doeth not anything save it be for the benefit of the world.” -Dallan R. Moody

I'm so happy summer weddings are here to stay awhile! Happy wedding day to these two!!

It's always hard to leave places like this. 🤙🏼
