One last breakfast in Florida and we had to have @strathmorebagels' lox and bagels. And coffee. And latkes. And pastrami & eggs. And bagelwich. And "For The Not So Hungry" which I couldn't finish because it was so much food. But look at those lox, so lovely!
Making guacamole with 2 types of avocado. Feeding the #wef2017 horsey crowd at a house party or last night to watch the Grand Prix. Love the giant green avocado for guac. Perfect texture and flavour. And besides the skins are large enough to serve in.
How do you taste test the BBQ sauces at a new BBQ joint? I try them all, one at a time, on their own. Then again, one at a time on each of the meats. Yes I'm a BBQ geek. Liked the Stupid best. And was surprised the Heater was Stupid with mustard.
This smoked fish dip @mulliganabeachhouse was a lovely flavour surprise. I've been seeing the smoked fish dips in grocery stores in Florida, but hadn't gotten to try any of them yet. Very please we got an order to share.
Grabbed some quick tacos and enchiladas @TijuanaFlats while we were out on errands. Impressive line up of hot sauces, we did a sampling of 8 and all didn't hit them all. Also impressive were the size of the taco shells. Look at that baby! And I was worried that 2 tacos wouldn't be enough.
