We've been moving towards a zero waste lifestyle this year and although we're FAR from where we would like to be this infographic inspired me to share a little of what we do in our home. We shop in bulk, bring our own mesh produce bags and reusable grocery bags, try to buy items packaged in reusable or recyclable materials when possible, compost food scraps, buy used over new when possible, when we see litter we pick it up, I make most of our meals at home but when we do go out we bring our own take out containers for leftovers and refuse straws and paper napkins, we use cloth instead of disposables, and we switched to compostable toothbrushes vs plastic when we learned that EVERY plastic toothbrush that has ever existed is sitting in a landfill! Being more conscious of our decisions isn't always the most convenient thing but we only have one planet and it's so important for us to take care of it. There's no shame in caring!
