brick village fire dept  The brick village fire dept. We are a 100% volunteer department. ⚫⚫⚫⚫⚫ 🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴 ⚫⚫⚫⚫⚫ Just a random dude from the netherlands

My main plan for 2019 is to rebuild the brick village fire dept fleet into all european rigs. As a start i made this engine. Its a volvo FH9 4x4 rescue engine. It is based on the engines my hometown department. It can be used for anything from brush fires to building fires to extrication jobs. It has room in the cab for a driver, an officer and 7 firefighters. This rig will be the first out to all calls for the bvfd.

A big thank you to everyone for all the support in 2018. It has been a rough year and i wasnt very active, but the things i posted have been very well reveived, so thanks for that! A special thanks goes to the guys from @studingtonfirerescue for entertaining me, learning me new things and supporting me in my daily life! I wish you all the best for 2019!

Engine 1 runs from the small station in the town of gettysbrick, 10 miles north of brick village. it is a 1982 Ford c with KME bodywork. it has a 750 gallon tank and has a 1250GPM front-mounted pump. it carries 200 ft of 4" LDH, 400 ft of 2.5" attack hose, 400 ft of 1.75" attack hose, 2 hard suction hoses and a booster reel. it also carries a 24ft ladder. it has 2 scba packs and other basic engine equipment on board.

First of all, MERRY CHRISTMAS!

tanker 1 runs from station 1 located on main street in Brick village. it is a 1993 Ford F800. it has a 1500 gallon tank, a front-mounted 1250GPM pump,
and has a 1500 gallon framed dump tank. it also carries a 12 foot ladder and some other basic firefighting equipment. this truck can run as a tanker or an engine.

Ladder 2 is an international 4900 75' ladder truck. It is the only truck company in the department, but can also be used as an engine.

The BVFD runs this freightliner m2112 2000 gallon tanker. It responds from station 2 and is the busiest tanker in the department.

Engine 2 runs this 2015 spartan gladiator transformer pumper. This rig will be replaced soon by another truck, because the rig is having a lot of problems, which means that is is more in the shops then in service.

Engine 3 was recently put in service in station 3. Station 3 is located right next to the small air strip just south of brick village. E3 is a 1989 pierce lance with grumman bodywork. A few unique features are the pump placement, the 50 gallon foam tank and the monitor on the roof.

This is engine 8331 (former 984) it is the second due engine of my old hometown department. As a junior firefighter we always used this rig. I always wanted to make in in (digital) bricks and a few months ago i made this. I always think back to the great 5 years i had in that department when i see this rig, and it has a special place in my heart.
