Spread the word! You do not need to "eat for two" during pregnancy. This is a myth. -
👩‍⚕️During my training years where I cared for pregnant patients (obstetrics), I had way too many women who would gain much more weight than they should have. This is partly due to this myth of needing to eat for two. -
🥗You actually don't need much more than your usual diet. The average extra needed is about 300 calories which is the equivalent to 3 medium bananas 🍌. -
🔥I will make a chart soon about how much weight you should gain during pregnancy based on your current body, but if you have any questions make sure to discuss with your OB.
