So following last weeks post lunch time swim food fail where I found myself needing cake I spoke to Robbie from @leanmums (whose work outs I do) and he looked at my whole diet to see what I was missing. As a vegetarian I do struggle getting enough protein in my diet and he recommended I replace my normal breakfast yogurt for something with added protein and it works!!! There's no right or wrong time though, it's just a case of finding a time to exercise that works for you.

This is a piece of advice I gave to one of my clients today.

It's easy to start to feel overwhelmed when you start a health and fitness plan.

You are full of good intentions initially and set optimistic goals about what you plan to do.

The problem is that life gets in the way and you can't manage to do all that and then you start to feel guilty about it and lose confidence.

A simple way to get back on track is just to start by saying what ONE thing you'll do tomorrow. Pick something you know you can definitely do. And then do it. No guilt and in fact you start to gain confidence.

Once you feel happy you can continue with that add something else in.
Give it a try and see if it works for you.

This is something I say a lot to people I work with and it's a great way of getting yourself back on track.

You might not want to go on that run or do that workout. But when you decided to get in shape you did so for a reason.

Refocus your mind on what you are aiming for and keep thinking about that!
