It came pretty close. This footage was shot from the winery where Leaky Barrel Cider is made. It's still standing, and more importantly: the beautiful family that lives onsite is safe.
Many were not so lucky.
This Saturday at Rincon Valley Tap Room, I'll be pouring a very rare, special cider called "Fireman's Pancake Breakfast." It's aged in maple-bourbon barrels for 3months, then finished on a tiny bit of chestnut and cinnamon. %100 of the proceeds to local charity.
