Variety is the key, and this is no different in attacking abs.

◽Ropes provide constant tension which means that the exercise does not become any easier throughout the range of motion. You are also able to easily alter the resistance and truly isolate the core muscles.
◽Hanging and fighting against gravity forces your core into action and keeps your abs engaged regarding of your position in the exercise, This position also allows your abs to stretch out and get that nice, slimmed down look that we're all looking for.
◽Working from a bench or flat ground is a great medium for high volume training while maintaining good technique. Most exercises on flat surfaces are also beginner-friendly when learning about mind-muscle connection.

Like many exercises, the leg press can work completely different muscles based on the position of your legs.
-
◽If you adopt a wider stance, you will predominantly work the inside muscles of your leg, specifically the inside quads and adductor muscles.
◽The wider you go, the greater emphasis you will put on your glutes and hamstrings
◽If you go narrower than parallel with your shoulders, you will begin to work on your outer quads and abductor muscles.
◽By changing the angle of your foot (e.g. from straight up to 45 degrees), you will also alter the muscles you work.
