The digital news ecosystem is so polluted that it has diminished the credibility of 'real' news. Media literacy is more important than ever to determine what is authentic and what is false. How do we educate? How do we regulate bullsh*t news without "muzzling"? A collaborative regulatory approach could work but we must be cautious about placing responsibility in the lap of governments or interest groups.
