Houstonians know how to welcome a guy. 😜

I’m excited to announce I’ve accepted an offer to become Chief Marketing Officer of Cypress Lakes Lodge! I’m overwhelmed with gratitude to begin this next chapter of my career and partner with one of the most respected industry leaders in behavioral healthcare.
Many of you know Dr. James Flowers from his work at some of the most prestigious facilities in the United States. He’s disrupted the entire behavioral healthcare spectrum with his innovations in pain recovery. This opportunity to come together and create something amazing at Cypress Lakes Lodge is a dream come true.
I’m looking forward to partnering with my trusted industry contacts and collaborating to provide excellent client care for those affected by substance use disorder and mental health. Let’s help these individuals heal!

It’s with a heavy heart that I’m announcing my resignation from Infinite Recovery. I’ve been a part of transforming this organization from a local treatment facility with just two levels of care to growing into a nationally-recognized full continuum, serving each and every level of care. We’ve sprouted from being completely out-of-network to being a preferred in-network provider with most major commercial insurances. I’ve grown personally and professionally, learning how to navigate through every department in a behavioral healthcare organization and understanding the intricacies that make up this industry.

I want to thank each and every Infinite Recovery family member for impacting my life in profound ways. As I’ve told each person, they’ve become more than just colleagues - they’re part of my extended family. We’ve endured through growing pains, navigated through program changes, and found our way to becoming a major treatment provider.

I’m excited for what’s to come and what God has in store for my family’s future. I leave knowing that I poured every ounce of my heart into the exemplary care we’ve provided for clients and elevating the in-network treatment experience. I am certain that Infinite Recovery will only continue to grow and increase access to people suffering from substance use disorder.

President Kennedy’s famous speech about going to the moon feels appropriate for this next chapter in my life:
“We choose to go to the Moon! We choose to go to the Moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard; because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one we intend to win, and the others, too”

Blast off. 🚀🚀🚀

In a day and age where most of us spend hours fixated on our phones, my brother’s so cool that he doesn’t even use social media. He and his wife Mel got their Frenchie Pierre-Saul before Beau and I got Oliver and Molly. He’s laid back, a man of his word, and always present for family. He was my hero growing up and still is. He (literally) saved my life and was the only person to get through to me when I couldn’t stop using drugs no matter what the consequence.
Happy birthday, John Boy. 🙏🏼🎁

I knew I was "different" as soon as I played with my cousin's Barbies for the first time. I tried hiding that part of me, but let's be real - everyone knew. A girlfriend outed me in college but I ran back in the closet. I told absolutely no one. It wasn't until I was caught stealing money and prescription drugs from my parents that I finally admitted I was gay. Ever since, I've been tongue popping and death dropping 24/7. Happy #NationalComingOutDay - it gets so much better. 🌈 🏳️‍🌈👬
