Happy Friday! For all of you New Yorkers, what are your snowed-in plans? I will be at club couch and DJ @netflix

“What you seek is seeking you” - Rumi

One of the things I’m working on right now is to take breaks and not feel guilty about it. I keep reading that giving your mind a rest is the best way towards creativity and listening to your intuition. These are the things I’ve been doing recently:
1. Being outside in nature. Even though it’s freezing here in NY, I bundle up and go for a walk or find a park.
2. Meet up with a high vibe friend. This past Sunday, I met up with my dear friend and Kumi Dreams web designer, Marcella. We had brunch at @bedfordpostdining and planned out my website redesign, stay tuned!
3. Listen to podcasts. I love inspirational podcasts about spirituality and entrepreneurship and true crime because who doesn’t?
4. Go to an art museum and get lost. Looking at art inspires me and I love how quiet they are.
5. Binge watch a show. I try to keep it educational but sometimes I just love a great show. I’m rewatching GOT right now to get ready for April.
What are some things you do to take a break?

“When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” - Dr Wayne Dyer
One of the many things I do to have the right mindset to keep going is to fill my subconscious mind with positive media. Whether it’s books, podcasts or videos. Some of my favorites are @drwaynedyer @oprah @lewishowes @garyvee Esther and Abraham Hicks.
What do you do to keep a positive mindset?

Up before the sun and working on my dream. Repeat after me, it’s possible to find my purpose, live my dream life and make money. The first step is believing that it’s possible and deciding that’s what you’re going to do. Now go do it!

Cold but beautiful. Just remember the next time you complain about things like the weather, 99% of the people in this world are wishing for your life. Just be grateful we live in the greatest city in the world with all the freedoms we have in America. Have a great Sunday ❤️

It used to scare me that there was no road map for following my dreams. I think that’s why it took me so long to do it. Now, I take comfort in knowing that when nothing is certain, anything is possible. Most people are afraid of uncertainty and the unknown but there’s so much beauty in it. Because things can happen in your life beyond your wildest dreams. So make space and time for the unknown and see where life takes you.

Hola, hello, 안녕하세요! Those are the only languages I know right now but I’m working on my fourth which I’m thinking about learning French. Also, embracing this cold Winter weather in New York. I didn’t used to like Winter but now I love it! I just changed my mindset about it. Do you know any other languages besides English? I would love to practice with someone. Happy Friday!

Whoaaa hello face! This is a homage to @officiallyquigley because I love her #filterdetox posts. I have no makeup on, this photo is not filtered AT ALL and I have NO eyebrows 🤣 I took this photo last Summer after a day at the beach and I felt really pretty with my tan and the amazing golden hour light. It’s important to show real life and the real me even though showing you my face like this scares me! Because there are a lot of depressed people out there comparing themselves to unrealistic photos. Anybody else showing the real you this year?

My best friend Susie, who I’ve known for over 24 years, asks me questions from listeners on @chasewildhearts One of the questions was how do I deal with the haters or people who give me unsolicited advice about how I should live my life.
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is that it’s not about me. They are projecting their own insecurities on to me. Anytime you do something that’s out of the norm, people are going to judge you because it makes them look inward. Maybe they aren’t doing what they’re called to do. Maybe they gave up on their dream. They know what they have to do but they aren’t doing it. I used to get so angry and take it so personally but now, with this understanding, I don’t have to respond or be defensive because it’s just on them to figure their shit out.
My response now is thank you but I know what I’m doing K, byeeee. On that note, thank you to all the listeners for all of your continued support, to all the Wild Hearts who took the time to sit with me and share their stories, and thanks to @smetscher who has seen the whole evolution of me and supported me along the way.

When was the last time you had fun? What did you do? I’ve been asking all my friends and family what they do for fun and I get a lot of reading, working out, knitting, and watching Netflix those are great answers but I mean just FUN. Like rolling down a hill, running through a sprinkler, or doing a funny dance. I didn’t realize how much I needed to do something silly like playing in the snow. I laughed so hard my stomach hurt. I think with our busy lives, we forget our inner childs. So I’m going to ask you here, what do you do for fun?
