Less than 4 weeks away from the 2019 event, eight-time @DakarRally finisher Laia Sanz talks us through the features of her KTM 450 RALLY... Carrying 32 litres of fuel and extensive navigation equipment, the bike still feels manageable and handles like a regular enduro bike - exactly what you need for long, gruelling days in the Peruvian dunes.
Following an illustrious 10-year career, FMF KTM Factory Racing's @kacymartinez496 has announced her retirement from professional racing.
At 28-years-old, Martinez has accomplished numerous career-milestones and shown incredible versatility in many disciplines of the sport, recently claiming the AMA EnduroCross and AMA Big 6 Grand Prix Championships.
Thank you Kacy for all your hard work and success in representing the #KTM brand.
Cairoli opts for fresh powerplant with his #222 KTM 450 SX-F. The Italian has opted for the new engine used by Jeffrey Herlings in 2018 in a bid for a record-equalling tenth crown. “Tony is looking for that little something extra and I think he is looking in all areas. We did a little bit of work on chassis but not much and he swapped to the new engine that Jeffrey used this past season,” says MX2 Team Manager and Technical Co-ordinator Dirk Gruebel. “We also proposed it to Tony [during the season] but it’s natural that he wanted to stick with something he knew and was comfortable with after winning the title.” #mx#mxgp#readytorace
