Hello bookstagram!😄
It's a little bit early, but here is my #maybookhaul (part 1)🤓
I was spoiled with new books lately, to be honest. There were pretty good discounts and my fiance has bought some books for our library (which I also wanted), so...I'm just happy to finally have these beauties, although I've already read some of them🙄
Inkdeath by Cornelia Funke📚
A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas📚
Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes📚
The Minds of Billy Milligan by Daniel Keyes 📚
The Fifth Sally by Daniel Keyes 📚
The Touch by Daniel Keyes 📚
The Sea of Monsters (Percy Jackson and the Olympians #2) by Rick Riordan📚
Did you read any of them?
Part 2 is on the way 😉

My English review you can find on my Goodreads (link in bio)😊

Do you decorate your working space? Or you prefer simplicity so you won't be disturbed from your work?😊 I've recently made a pin board and found out that I don't have much to put on it. so I've decided to make it into my mood board and it really helps me to be inspired😉
Have a nice Monday/Tuesday! 😊😊

Is there a book trilogy you have sort of love/hate relationships with?😊
For me it is "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children"🤔
I loved it, because the idea and world-building are just amazing👍🏻
But I hate it, because I've expected something different from the ending and some other plot lines author didn't conclude. I also was confused by the cover and photos, but it's ok. 😉
I'm somewhere in between about this story, if that makes sense🤓
Thank you @bookish.hearts for #bookspine tag❤️

A Court of Mist and Fury (A Court of Thorns and Roses #2)
by Sarah J. Maas 📚
well.wow.it was so good! Honestly, I'm having a reading hangover, but I feel so great😄
I'm so happy to return to this beautiful world of Prythian 🙃
I don't want to tell you what is happening in this book, cos it will definitely be a lot of spoilers. I know that there are people who didn't read ACOTAR and I don't want to ruin it
I'll just point out a few thing which made me fell in love with this series once again😉
1. The Plot. I like that in this book we have a lot more intense action scenes and plot twists and they're perfectly balanced with Feyre's describtions of her surrounding and other characters and also with some quite calm, quiet episodes. However, the last chapters, actually from chapter 55 til the end, were so intense! I think my heart missed a beat a few times. 😱
2. Characters. Altough, Feyre moans a lot about her destiny and horrible things she went through, I don't blame her, she reall went through a lot of stuff in the first book. I liked her development here, she became stronger, she's decided how she wants her life to be. I also loved that we discover a lot about Rhysand, his past, his intentions and some actions were explained. I've completely changed my attitude towards Tamlin. New characters are also amazing! 😍
3. The pace. I found this book a lot more slow-paced rather that the first one, but believe it is worth it! We got so many new interesting details about this world, characters (especially their past, which explains everything), about the relationships between some main characters. I think it is quite a normal thing for the second book of the series, I needed that explanation.
My review looks like a mess, but I still cannot express my feelings with words about this book😅
It made me forget about reality, I lived in this magical world and couldn't put the book down for more that an hour! And I regret nothing, don't get me wrong, I mean isn't that the true evidence of why reading is an amazing thing?😊

Happy Friday 😊
Thank you @emthereader_ for #bythebook tag ❤️

Highly Illogical Behavior by John Corey Whaley📚
I didn't expect much from this novel, but I ended up enjoying it!😊
This story is about Sol, a guy, who hasn't left his house for 3 years, and about Lisa, who wants to win the scolarship so she can get into the second-best psychology program for college. She wants to write an essay about Sol and how she will help him to step out of his safe place and live a normal life. She also introduced her boyfriend to Sol and they became close friends. It was a really brief summary though. 😄
Although this story touches serious topics (agoraphobia, panic attacks, anxiety, socialization...), the author made it funny and heart-melting.😊 Narration style is pretty hard to get used to, but the characters are so nice, well-created and interesting. And I liked the ending, I kind of wanted this story to have some sort of an open ending, because it is what you usually have in realistic fiction. 😉
To sum it up, I'd recommend this book, if you like the genre. This story definitely found a place in my heart. ☺️

When almost all your feed is ACOWAR pictures, but you've only read ACOTAR 😄 honestly, I feel a little bit behind 😅
Bit it's ok, I've received my copy of ACOMAF and I finally can continue reading this amazing series 😉

I can't wait to start this beauty 😍

"Stars are important," I say, laughing.
"Sure, but why not more poems about the sun? The sun is also a star, and it's our most important one. That alone should be worth a poem or two.

Nicola Yoon. The Sun is Also a Star 😊😊😊
How's your Sunday so far? Are you ready for a new week?
I was doubting to post this photo, because my hands look really strange 🙃 but I want to show you my new plant, so let it be 😄
