CNN’s Van Jones admits Russia story a ‘big nothing burger’ in undercover video (watch the full video)
Political commentator Van Jones was filmed by a member of the conservative organization Project Veritas saying the Russia story is “just a big nothing burger.”

This comes in the wake of the group’s video revealing CNN producer John Bonifield admitting the network’s focus on allegations of Russian interference in the US elections is just for ratings and that the story is “mostly bulls*t right now.”

“Like, we don’t have any big giant proof,” Bonified added.

Earlier this week three prominent journalists at CNN were fired after the cable news network was forced to retract and apologize for a story linking Anthony Scaramucci, a hedge-fund manager and Trump confidant, to a Russian investment fund supposedly being investigated by the Senate.

Mr. Trump weighed in with his own critical take on Tuesday morning: “Wow, CNN had to retract big story on "Russia," with 3 employees forced to resign. What about all the other phony stories they do? FAKE NEWS!”

The cover of the new issue of Time features the White House covered in a structure which appears to be a combination of two Moscow landmarks – the Kremlin Walls and the onion domes of St. Basil's Cathedral. Sorry, Time, but Putin doesn't work in a cathedral. This is the first point.

The second one, which is the most important, Russia has no secret ties neither with Trump, nor with his administration. What is happening now in America is not even Russophobia, but dangerous and radical in its nature political games aiming at scoring political points by some US politicians.

Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed frustration that U.S. “political schizophrenia” over Donald Trump’s alleged ties to Russia is wrecking efforts to foster a new era of partnership between their countries.

Those making such claims “either don’t understand that they are harming their own country, which means they are just dumb, or they understand everything and then they are dangerous and unscrupulous people,” he said.

Considering the recent scandal over the allegiations that Trump revealed some secrets to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Putin said he is ready to provide a transcript of the meeting to members of the U.S. Congress, where lawmakers have raised questions and criticisms over reports that Trump had shared valuable intelligence about ISIS that was gleaned by a U.S. ally.

Russia stands and has always stood for building constructive and mutually beneficial relations with the US. Unfortunately, current rethorics of some US politicians contributes to building the false image of Russia in the minds of the US citizens and fosters radical, dangerous and harmful for both countries public sentiments.

In the early hours of Friday morning, the US launched 59 cruise missiles at a Syrian military airfield
President Putin regards the strikes as «aggression against a sovereign nation» and that the strikes were carried out «in violation of international law, and also under an invented pretext.»

Moscow calls for urgent UN Security Council meeting over US air strikes in Syria. The meeting is set to take place today (Friday). A number of international organizations condemned the US airstrike. One of the is the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). So according to available information, the US attack on Syrian military infrastructure, the situation amounts to an international armed conflict.”
The United States fired 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles at Syria overnight in response to what it believes was a chemical weapons attack that killed more than 100 people.

The strike on the Shayrat airfield in Syria’s Homs Province destroyed a material storage depot, a training facility, a canteen, six MiG-23 aircraft in repair hangars and a radar station.

Russian Foreign Ministry pointed to the events that followed the strikes, a large-scale offensive against the Syrian Army carried out by ISIS and Al-Nusra Front terrorists.

Vladimir Putin has again denied Russian meddling in the US elections, blaming allegations that Moscow had sought to influence the vote on an internal political battle in the US.

“Read my lips – no,” the Russian president answered, when asked whether Russia had tried to influence the vote. He emphasised the denial by saying “no” in English.

The Democrats keep accusing members of the Trump administration of having ties to Russia, which it alleges hacked into the email services of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) to influence the election in favor of the Republicans.

However, those accusations have never backed by any significant proof and have repeatedly been denied by both Moscow and the Trump administration.
