One of those places you will keep in mind forever. ❤ Also the next person who mentions my accent might not get away unharmed. ✌🏻

And with last rays of daylight I made it to Copper Harbor, Lake Superior! ❄️ It took me all day to get here from Duluth but yes, of course it is worth the drive! Although it will take me several hours to get back on track tomorrow. #LakeSuperiorCircleTour

Always take the scenic route! 💁🏻

Driving hundred and hundred of Miles through the Michigan Wilderness. After being stopped by the police in Wisconsin 🚨I might now be the slowest car around 😁 and put the Distronic Plus on. 🤷🏻‍♀️ The kind officer let me go with a warning. 🙏🏻 By the way whoever thinks driving in the US with a german/european license only will work: NO. Don't rely on this. This officer was only happy when I handed him the international one, too. Ignoring that could mean: you are driving without a valid license!

I get distracted so easily 😂 That's really bad for my schedule. But Ashland, Wisconsin and historic downtown is very interesting!!!

❄️☃️❄️💙💁🏻

I just CANNOT get myself to leave this city. 💙 But I'm running late. Next stop: Copper Harbor. Perhaps.

Could not stop looking at the Lake. When winter is over, this is the spot to watch huge ships pass by. ⛴

Duluth. So much more than the sad image you get while watching Fargo. I had no clue! 😍

This boy had just 100 miles on the clock when I sat down. Now I have added some more. Hope he loves it as much as I do. All the salt might be a bit itchy. Need to find a carwash. With @mbusa.

When I decided to push through Thunder Bay from Ontario, Canada back to the US yesterday. A long drive but this was what I got first thing in Minnesota! ❤

So I circled the northern coastline of Lake Superior with just one stop in Wawa. Such a great drive with weather changing like crazy. But the last part down to Thunder Bay turned out to be quite boring. So I decided to cross the border to the US a day earlier. It's amazing how you can't cope with a population of 100.000 when you just enjoyed the calmness of small villages.
