God DAMN it, I loved this film. Blinding script, gorgeous direction and firecracker performances. Seedy London’s never looked better. Made in 1986 (the year I was born) which is my excuse for only just seeing it.
I haven’t spilt anything on myself here, that’s just how the shirt’s designed. Where did I buy it? I can’t remember, and anyway I think it was the last one. The place was really hard to get to, abroad somewhere, and went out of business.
Just following orders but this book is ELECTRIC. A whip-through-it read about Basquiat told through the eyes of his lover and muse, Suzanne. Very funny and very sad and very very 1980s New York art scene. You’d love it x #widowbasquiat
