I was trying to find a drive for class, found one, popped it into my computer, and saw that I made someone a bunch of mixes? Can't figure out when I made this but it's at least 4 years old and now I don't even wanna use it for class because it feels like erasing a diary entry.

Bedrooms are so insanely intimate and a place I consider integral to any artist's creativity as a whole and it was something really special to see @jackantonoff bedroom. For those who don't know of "Jack's Room"- he literally tore up his actual adolescent bedroom and recreated it in complete as an installation art piece that's been traveling across the country. Thank you for going above and beyond for your fans always.

I am so excited that @adolescentcontent helped me bring this video to life! This is an idea I've had for ages and I'm so happy with how it turned out. @itsnonnie_ is an incredibly dynamic person and her never ending journey of self discovery and self improvement is beautiful!! "Touching Up My Roots" is an intimate look at her relationship with her hair. Link in @adolescentcontent's bio~

"In this kickass video essay from @the_lightleaks founder @kimhoyos💕💫, Nanichi Oliva @itsnonnie_ explores the link between her cultural background as an African-American Latina and her hair. It's an intimate portrait of Nanichi's relationship to her natural hair and all that it signifies, and Nanichi's perspective on being an Afro Latina is one worth hearing. In explaining why she mad this video, Kim says, "I wanted to create a video on Nanichi because her story as an Afro-Latina is one I cannot tell as a white-passing Latina..."- @adolescentcontent (link in their bio!!)

@adolescentcontent has premiered my latest docu style short, "Touching Up My Roots". It's been AWHILE since I've done non fiction work (even though I started in film via documentary). And I really missed talking to someone and hearing their story. As a white passing Latina, I cannot tell Nanichi's story as an Afro Latina- and I think that's something that should be celebrated. She has a beautiful story and I'm so happy Adolescent Content is hosting it. Thank you @itsnonnie_!! Link in @adolescentcontent's bio~
