I spent quite a lot of time on my own recently, resting at home. And whilst I’m here, in my little cocoon, I see the world going through so many hardships, one after the other, the breaking news banner never disappearing off my feed, my chest tightening a little at its sight every single time.
In London and all over the world, terrorist attacks, pure evilness but also unfortunate natural catastrophes are trying to tear the world upside down.
But despite all this, something quite amazing is happening too. Somehow, people still find the strength to gather together to help their communities, provide shelter and basic human needs to total strangers, terrorism is being defied by brilliant humour and just an outpouring amount of love, empathy and humanity.
There’s just no time nor place for hate or negativity in our world.
It’s not always easy, and we’re quite quick to forget how to remain positive, but at the end of the day, all that matters is trying to be the best human you can. For yourself and the rest of the world.
A smile, a kind word, a random act of kindness, are enough to make someone happy, and already make the world a little bit better. The Beatles said it, and I still stand by these words, Love is all we need, so here is a picture of a mummy and baby manatee for you all 💙
