A #strong #core will improve your #posture and also help to improve your #athleticism. On the other hand, a weak #midsection will do the opposite and could eventually lead to #lowerback pain.
Some people say #situps are bad but I don't have a problem with this #exercise as it's a #functionalmovement. Sitting up from a lying down position is basically a #situp. However, doing countless #crunches or #situps will not get you a #6pack unless your #bodyfatpercentage is low enough, approximately 15% for men and 20% for women. #personaltrainer #abworkout #coretraining @blackmilkphotography

It's natural that one side of the body is stronger than the other. For the average recreational gym-user, this shouldn't be a problem. However, if the imbalance is too much it can eventually lead to injuries and chronic pain. I'm very proud of my #client for #deadlifting his own #bodyweight. When he came to me a few months ago he had chronic #backpain and very restricted #movement, making it difficult to even bend down to tie his shoe laces. He had no previous experience of #liftingweights but was open to my suggestion that he could improve his condition, AND was committed to the process. You can see from the video that he lifted that weight with relative ease and could definitely lift a heavier amount. The real victory though, is that he's now pain free. Some people only post themselves looking good but the journey is just as important as the end result. Last Sunday I attempted a #handstand on the bars for the first time. I had no plan as to what I would do once I got up there, neither had I thought about how I would get down safely...Please don't try this at home.🤔🤣🤣🤣..So this is what happened....I broke my fall with my feet so didn't injure anything.
