Take a look at the ASICS Gel Saga 2 from 1993 in a White/Navy/Teal colorway to keep on with the #31daysofvintage
This silhouette was the evolution of previous shape released in '91.
The Gel Saga kept on evolving with the Gel Super Gel Saga in 1994, with some slight changes on the upper and midsole
A shame we won't be seeing anything else from this silhouette in near future... @asicstiger

Take a look at the ASICS Tiger Montreal from the early 80's in a beautiful Red/White colorway.
Definitely one of the nicest shapes I've seen in a while...
10 days to go with the #31daysofvintage

Here's the ASICS Tiger Simba GP, which released in the mid 1980's.

The #31daysofvintage are coming to an end and I'm very happy to announce that I've teamed up with the guys from @crepecity and @asicstiger UK to present you the History of Tiger Stripes.
In collaboration with Crepe City, I'll be displaying around 50 pairs of Vintage from the Japanese brand in the Old Truman Brewery in London on July 29th!
Make sure to come by and say hello and I really hope you'll enjoy what you see!

Take a look at the ASICS Gel A6 from 1996 in a White/Black/Pink colorway.
Another great silhouette, which @asicstiger should think about bringing back...
Big announcement following later on!

Here are the 5 original colorways of the Gel Lyte III from back in 1990.
The great mind behind the Gel Lyte III is Shigeyuki Mitsui, a Japanese nativ, born in the north of the country, who joined ASICS Tiger in 1984.
Being definitely one of the most recognizable silhouettes from ASICS Tiger to ever release, the Gel Lyte III made a huge impact in the running industry in the 90’s with an even lighter shoe then the previous Gel Lyte series, a trio-density compression moulded EVA midsole and with the split tongue, which gives the silhouette an extra plus in comfort and aesthetics.
Even tough most of you know the split tongue from the Gel Lyte III, this iconic feature had already been seen on the Gel LD Racer in 1989.

The concept behind the Gel Lyte III was to create something that hadn’t been seen yet in the market. A running shoe with the most modern technology and functions, but furthermore with nice and colorful aesthetics.
In the mid 2000’s the silhouette gave its comeback as a collaboration with New York based sneaker retailer David Z. @ronniefieg who worked back then for his uncle at the store, was the responsible to design the “252 Pack”.
What happens from then on is history…

Take a look at the ASICS Gel 66 from 1993, to keep on with my #31daysofvintage
A wonderful silhouette in a even better colorway, which unfortunatley isn't available on the market anymore.
This would definitely be a good replacement for the Gel Saga.

Taking you back to 1993 in my #31daysofvintage journey, with the ASICS Gel Lyte in a Teal/Black/White colorway.
This silhouette was another upgrade for the Gel Lyte series, adding more stability to the sole unit and using the mono-stretch tongue technology, which had previously been seen on the Gel Lyte Ultra.
Personally, this is one of the best cw's I've seen on a Gel Lyte V to date.

Here's the ASICS Gel Lyte V in a White/Purple/Teal colorway from 93', which was re-relased in 2013.
The ASICS Gel Lyte V was introduced in 1993, as another upgrade for the Gel Lyte series. With the re-introduction of the Gel Lyte V back in 2013, eapecially with the Volcano colorway by @ronniefieg, it has become one of the strongest silhouettes in their lifestyle section.

Take a look at the ASICS Gel Saga 1 from 91' in a Black/White/Green colorway to keep in with the #31daysofvintage
This silhouette was the one to start the Gel Saga era, which kept on evolving with sequels between 1991-94, with some slight changes on the upper and sole.
Personally this is one of my favorite and also one of the comfiest silhouettes from @asicstiger
Will we see more of this silhouette in near future?🤔

Here's the ASICS Gel Lyte Lady Runner from 1990.
This silhouette is based on the Gel Lyte Runner, which released in the same year.
Would love seeing this silhouette coming back
