The photo on the left was 5 months after having my second child and I had every “suck me in” item I could find on under that dress 😂 I was still breast feeding, so swollen from a terrible diet and I could barely look in the mirror. I put on another 6kg after this photo before I started my keto journey.
Second photo is me now and feeling great. Anyone who feels like “you will never shift that baby weight” think again, you totally can, just takes a little dedication, research, positivity and support 😊👏

Welcome back @christina_keto_91413 for a #featurefollowup !! Keto is the only thing that works for me. There is 2 years between these 2 pictures and about 80 lbs. Picture left is about a 16 and picture on the right is a size 8. I am not someone who has ever been able to eat whatever I want, and when I do, I pay for it. I love the keto lifestyle and know it will always be the only thing that works and makes me feel good! I bought these jeans as “goal” jeans and now they are to big! I’m at 159.8 my ultimate goal is 150!

My Top 5 Keto Tips:

1. Even though you can eat as much fat as you like with keto, I still think it's important not to over do it. A few pieces of bacon, not the whole pack.
.
2. TRACK if your new to keto! You may not realize how quickly some of the carbs you eat add up (even ones from veggies)
.
3. Still watch calories. You'll have better results if you do.
.
4. Intermittent fasting seriously works wonders!
.
5. Exercise if you can and lots of water!!!!

Introducing @neli_keto_grl : I started my healthy journey in January, was eating better and got active. Weight came off nicely...in April I hit some bumps in the road called LIFE, and I decided to give Keto a try. Not only have I lost weight but I feel amazing! Introducing @ketone_krew : Hi guys!! My name is Ana and I have lost 71 lbs. Before the weight loss I felt horrible. I was 198lbs and at 31 years old I had given up on myself and my body. I would sit around and eat junk all day. My heart would race just by going up the stairs. My knees were killing me. None of my clothes fit and I just kept buying bigger and bigger sizes. I got up to a tight fitting size 14. Not only was I obese, I was so depressed about it. I hated shopping, taking pictures and doing things that involved getting out of the house (with the exception of work and some cheer events). On December 21st 2017 a horrible thing happened in my life. It completely rocked me. I decided that it was time to put myself first before anything and in order to do that, I had to take care of myself and take charge of my health. I began by slowly cutting the junk foods in my life. I started eating smaller portions and then a co-worker told me about Keto. It sounded crazy! How could someone lose weight by eating fat???? I watched the magic pill and I decided to do it for the health benefits. After I started Keto my life changed. My brain fog was gone. Inflammation gone. I had energy to do things with my kids. It’s not always easy, and it’s not always quick, but it is 100% ALWAYS worth it. If I could give anyone who is just starting out/still thinking about starting, some advice, it would be this: Spend a lot of time looking at before and after pictures- they are so motivational. Do not compare the speed of your weight loss to anyone else, only focus on your own progress and TRUST 👏🏼 THE 👏🏼 PROCESS 👏🏼. Do not cheat. You will fall right off the wagon, and it’s a lot harder to get back on than you think it is. Take pictures. Celebrate every milestone. I was just as happy to see 165 as I was to see 144. Decide what works for you- if you want to do strict keto, lazy keto, dirty keto, they all work. If you want to weigh yourself twice a day, or throw out your scale- do what YOU want to do and don’t worry about what anyone tells you you’re supposed to be doing. Join keto communities on insta, fb, Reddit, etc, there’s such a wealth of knowledge there for you to grab.

My keto/weightloss journey hasn’t been easy but it’s been absolutely worth it. I lose weight slower than most but I’ve stuck with it.
I’m 10lbs away from my pre-pregnancy weight at 18 months postpartum. No surgeries, no pills, just fat, wholesome foods, electrolytes, water, lots of self love and patience.

My Top 5 Keto Tips:
.

1. Get your electrolytes in from day 1! Even if it means just adding more salt to all your food. Do it.
.
2. Research, research, research. Never stop learning. Never stop growing with keto. I learn something new everyday.
.
3. Cook at home whenever possible so you know exactly what’s going in your food. If you’re busy, food prepping is always a good idea.
.
4. Don’t let a stall discourage you! I once stalled for 6 months and still lost 3 inches in my waist. The scale is one of the last ways that we should measure success.
.
5. Take a lot of pictures! With clothes preferably so you have something on your body to gauge the inches lost. Try to do the same pose with the same lighting. Take them weekly if you can! You’ll be happy you did once you’ve gotten closer to your goals! Enjoy the process. 💛

Introducing @mamajs_keto_journey : I began keto on January 2, 2018. I went into thinking there was no possible way I'd be successful. How could I possibly live without carbs? I made excuse after excuse, of what I couldn't give up. But I finally did, and I haven't looked back. I've lost 34 lbs in 9 months, I've completed beach body insanity, and in just a few days I begin training for my first 15k. Keto has given me the energy and strength to do all of this.
