.There are different ways to grip the bar...resting on shoulders, arms crossed, arms straight, etc. As long as you can maintain proper pelvic and spinal control throughout the movement, do what feels most comfortable for you while you build leg strength. However, if you are also power lifting, then try to do your front squats with the elbows โ€œupโ€ like this; your upper arm should be nearly parallel with the floor. This is traditionally tougher if you have tightness in your back, lats, etc. I๏ธn other words, donโ€™t neglect your mobility and stretching work ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ
