I took this photo six years ago in my grandmothers bathroom, only having a tripod and a ten second timer. I would repeatedly hit the button and run to my marker, hoping the camera would catch the focus and I would get the shot. I never got that shot, and I was not happy with the end results, but I thought it was worth posting this photo.
Six years later, my self portrait has been shared and posted well over a hundred thousand times. There is something special knowing that you created a photograph that has moved so many people and be described as “timeless”. No money in the world can replace this feeling.
