A few tips from me to achieve korean makeup look:
- Dewy complexion Skin prep, dewy finish foundation/cushion and highlighters are the key to have it. Avoid using too much powder. However, people with oily skin should be very careful when trying this complexion finish.
- Light and straight eyebrows
Yep! Korean straight & thick eyebrows has been happening for some years. This kind of eyebrow will give young feeling to your makeup compared to high arch ones. In order to soften the look, you can choose lighter colored eyebrow products. For people that have thick eyebrow hair (like me), I find the most effectice way is to use eyebrow mascara (instead of pencil or pomade type).
- Light eyes, bold lips
I notice that Korean makeup usually uses very light/natural eyeshadow but be very bold on the lips. Whether it’s bright pink color like I put on @23josephine , bright orange or even darker colors such as deep red and burgundy. Ombré lips may be your options to have bolder lips without being too overpowering.
