Yesterday was my first full day back at home, so there was a lot of catching up to do. Work, laundry, litter box, grocery store…you know…ordinary life stuff.
Later in the afternoon I took Daisy for a walk down to the park, and when we got back, all of our Christmas lights had come on. Walking up the sidewalk and seeing our tree all lit up from the inside gave me a giant warm fuzzy. So of course I had to take a picture of it.
It wasn’t until I uploaded it into my computer last night that I noticed the peeling paint around the windows at which point I just sort of laughed to myself. But the more I played around with my photo, the more I came to appreciate the other little details like the wavy glass, the reflection of the bare trees, the glimpse of the ornaments. This photo tells the story of Christmas at home. ❤️
P.S. Today on my blog I am sharing five of my favorite ways to capture the light and magic of my Christmas tree (you can find the link in my profile). As always, thank you for letting me share my holiday magic with you.
