I remember the day I met Hollie. It was at church and my new friend, Heather Marvin introduced us. [This was also the day I met @matkearney at church- cause that's just how Nashville is- before much of the world knew who he was.] Anyway, I thought for sure she was way too pretty to be my friend. I actually thought this about all the girlfriends that the Lord put in my life that season- early Nashville days [@heatherjrmarvin @claireindienunn @cameronjamesmusicofficial @butterflysparks]. Oh the thoughts and lies that we allow our minds to be filled with. The ways we compare and pick ourselves apart. WHY?!? Hollie is not only beautiful, but she is kind. She's the nicest person. She is a great friend. Thanks to her....my true love for photography was ignited! Hollie has forever shaped the way we eat and the foods we allow in our home. She inspires me in the kitchen.....oh how I wish I had her gift of being awesome in the cooking easy, yet delicious meals department.
Hollie and I got to catch up and hang out in Hawaii last week. It was so refreshing and encouraging. Girl time is so good for the soul....it's so important to pick the right friends and invest wisely! In our busy and distracted world....what a treasure it is to have a friend that really knows you. Like, really really knows you....& it's easy to pick up where you leave off.
P.s Apparent Matt & Annie Kearney were also in Kauai last week with their sweet new baby🌴 small world.
