“You’ll learn, as you get older, that rules are made to be broken. Be bold enough to live life on your terms, and never, ever apologize for it. Go against the grain, refuse to conform, take the road less traveled instead of the well-beaten path. Laugh in the face of adversity, and leap before you look. Dance as though EVERYBODY is watching. March to the beat of your own drummer. And stubbornly refuse to fit in.” Mandy Hale
Yesterday, I had a great chat with my hairdresser friend (who, bless her heart, also doubles as my personal therapist 😬😉) and I left her chair not only with a fantastic new ‘do, but also feeling really humbled and inspired to make some real, personal changes. -
I’ve never been the kind of person who wants to be defined by others OR myself (I find it too limiting) but I also have so many fears & hangups when it comes to being vulnerable and letting others see my true self. So, I’m setting some intentions today in order to walk boldly (and without apologies) on my own path. Replacing shame with love & confidence.
Letting go of what others think can be hard, but if we raise the bar & don’t accept anything less than we deserve, then the path we walk will be truly beautiful and completely worth the initial discomfort & struggle.
Making the commitment to walk boldly forward...
