Happy first day of fall babes πŸ˜ŠπŸ‚πŸ here is a secret, I don't like pumpkin spice very much πŸ™ˆ I'm not even going to call myself "unbasic" because let's be real you can catch a Starbucks cup in my hand on most days, but when it comes to pumpkin spice, I'll pass 😬 however, let's not forget other fall flavors and seasonal fruits: apples, cinnamon, pears, blackberries, etc πŸ˜‹ .
This waffle was the perfect way for me to kick off my Friday! Took a slow morning to relax and be lazy before I study my life away. Will hit up the gym between study seshs because it's the best way to clear your head πŸ™ŒπŸΌ .

Topped with coconut aminos bc they rock and if you haven't tried them yet you're missing out!! .
I eat a shizzz ton of kale (if you couldn't tell from my name) so for fun here are nutritional benefits of kale bc researching this is more fun than studying:

Starting the week off the only way I know how: sweaty workout and smoothie bowl πŸ€—πŸ€€πŸ™ŒπŸΌ take time every Monday to set your intentions for the week. Once I'm done with my morning workout and getting ready I'll sit at my desk and go over everything I have planned for the week and organize what assignments I need to do and when. Organization has been one of my biggest goals this year. Not just with school but keeping my surroundings organized too. This means making my bed, cleaning my apartment, etc. If your environment is de-cluttered than so is your mind 😊 .

also ob-fricken-sessed with @primalkitchenfoods green goddess dressing!!! I'm extremely picky about dressings and this brand has quality, trust worthy ingredients in all their products! Picked mine up at Whole Foods last week and been using it ever since 😊 .
And lastly can we talk about this salmon πŸ™„πŸ˜³ beautiful! Made 3 pieces last night, just coated it with coconut aminos and salt and baked at 350 for 30 min plus 2 min of broil πŸ™ŒπŸΌ bam. So easy. So good.

Clemson is my favorite school and @rawbite.us is my new favorite bar πŸ€—β€οΈ when I did a post about my go-to bars with the best ingredients, rawbite reached out to me because they felt I would love their bars and boy were they right. First off these ingredients are #cleanAF NO weird additives, NO junk. You can catch these in my book bag every Monday and Wednesday while I'm on campus from 230-530. Right in the middle of snack time ya feel πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ also, the pictured flavor Apple Cinnamon is my jam 😜 .
Are there any other bars or snack products I'm missing out on? Tell me below! My food philosophy is quality > quantity. And by that I mean that'd I'd reach for a bar made with quality, clean ingredients over a "diet" low calorie bar any day.

Also feelin like a drama queen because in the grand scheme of things a little over 24 hours without power isn't a big deal. Most of the food in our fridge was ok because we didn't open it which was my biggest concern πŸ™„ you don't realize how much you take for granted the little things you have. I'm working on appreciating these little things and remembering how lucky I am to have them. .

Hi from my @wholefoodsgreenville brown box and I πŸ™‹πŸ»πŸ‘‹πŸΌ going on 24 hours without power so decided to take a trip to whole foods and brighten my mood. I know there are so many people that have it worse so I'm very much trying not to complain!! I just wasn't expecting my area to lose power for this long πŸ™ˆ some people are saying it may not be till Saturday till we get it back in which case I can kiss all my groceries and beloved meal prep goodbye πŸ˜₯ legit saddest about my fridge not working lol but hoping everyone else affected by the storm is staying safe!! Sorry I'm MIA but I'm already over my data and no power means no wifi 😬 you're not missing any cool food anyway lol

I practically jumped for joy when I found out my school gym was gonna be open even though school was closed πŸ™ŒπŸΌ mondays are my favorite workout days because I feel extra motivated and excited for the new week. The simplest of all dinners but hits the spot πŸ˜ŠπŸ™ŒπŸΌ I've always preached that being healthy doesn't have to be hard, but it also doesn't mean you have to eat rice, chicken, and sweet potatoes for every meal. This bowl has a bed of sautΓ©ed kale with roasted carrots and zucchini (spray with @chosenfoods avocado oil and salt and bake at 400 till your desired level of burnt), and an @applegate turkey burger on top (just ground turkey and rosemary). At the end topped with coconut aminos!
I cooked this turkey burger on my George Foreman grill and let me tell you this is the best thing I've ever bought. It cooks whatever you want super fast and perfectly! My roomies even toast their bread in it πŸ˜‚ highly recommend!y

Rainy day smoothie bowl 🌧 slept in (kind of) and then hit the gym for some arms and refueled with this beaut πŸ’• Today is going to be one of those "get my life together" days.
