KajaksTFC Speed & Power group hard at work! #Repost@jacksoncheungsprint with @get_repost ・・・ Never easy to get posts on instagram of the athletes I work with as training > documentation (also why most of my videos here are ones where my phone is sitting on the ground or a pod). Great training week for the @kajakstfc high school group that I coach alongside Byron Jack. 0-60m speed emphasis for older athletes / GPP emphasis for younger athletes. One female hit 1️⃣.1️⃣7️⃣ for fly 10 👊🏻. Females are different from males in sprint training as the 100m event is longer for those with less alactic speed potential, thus requiring more emphasis on speed endurance qualities. Still, I trained along females who could run 7.4-7.5s who would post 2.15-2.25s in a fly 20. 1.17 is close and a very good indicator of ⬆️ speed.
And that’s a wrap on a successful 2019 @icebreaker8k 🏃🏽♂️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏽♂️🏃🏻♀️☀️☀️Thanks again for all the help from our AMAZING volunteers! We could not have done it without you!
