I no longer participate in sports but this quote is still so relevant. I get asked all the time why I continue to push myself so hard if I’m not competing in anything and I think it’s for that young Kaisa. Somewhere deep down I’m still out here trying to make her proud.

My biggest passion in life is coaching. I honestly love it more than anything. I’ve been so humbled and honored by the opportunities, connections and people I get to come across daily. I wake up every morning grateful and thankful for life.

But it also takes a lot out of me. I pour my heart and soul into my workouts and sometimes that means that I need to give myself ample time to recover and get back to things.

I’ve had so many DM’s this past week from people wondering where I’ve been at... the simple truth is that sometimes you just need a break.

I took a week off and now I’m back and feeling better than ever. I’m so incredibly thankful for you all, you have NO idea! The love you show me on a daily basis is insane. We are a TEAM and I am SO grateful to have you all in my world (and to be a part of yours!) And last thing! No matter what you’re doing, working on, engaged in, or striving for; remember to take time out for yourself, ALWAYS! 💙💪
