❤️ Finally, a chance to breathe! So much to remember, be proud of, and be grateful for this season, I can hardly decide where to begin. While most of my more personal notes of hope, fear, faith, and courage remained in the pages of my journal this year, all of your support and love transcended Facebook and touched our hearts. Thank you friends and family for your patience through our big decision-making, faith in our team, showers of strength during our trials, and shared celebration through the peaks. It has been an ADVENTURE! And you know what, that is exactly what we asked for. Through challenge you find growth, and with necessity, fear becomes obsolete. But we did it!!! And honestly... enjoyed every bit this year.
Andrew and I have so much to learn and couldn't be more excited to tackle this off-season with love and vigor. With that being said, I'm sure it comes as no surprise by now that we have made the difficult decision to stay home during the Stars on Ice Canada Tour. We feel that time and opportunity to create is the most valuable. We will miss it so much, though! Good luck to all of our #soifamily tonight during Opening Night in Halifax, and hopefully we'll be in the audience in Toronto eagerly cheering you on and making intense eye contact! 😂
In the meantime, we'll keep you, our dear friends, posted with updates and the never-ending fairytale story that is WeaPo.
Always yours, 🇨🇦with glowing hearts,
Kaitlyn (& Andrew) 👑🎩
