Kenya's passport is currently number 8 in Africa behind Seychelles, Mauritius, South Africa. Namibia, Lesotho and Swaziland.
Out of these countries that rank ahead of Kenya, we only need a visa to South Africa. Which is funny because South Africans can come to Kenya visa Free 😐
Anyway the ranking is great news because it means you can get your SA visa and travel by road to Lesotho and Swaziland and even Mozambique now that is visa free for Kenyans.
Kenyans get to visit 36 countries in Africa Visa free/visa on arrival. I put up a list of all 72 countries a Kenyan passport holder gets to visit Visa free/voa. Well now it's 73 including Mozambique.
which is good but whew! Traveling in Africa can be difficult with poor flight connections and unnecessary harassment in the name of "virgin passport" when crossing overland borders.
Do you think I'm too hopeful to think that this will change in future now that more Africans are traveling in Africa?
