I can imagine that it might be hard to tell the difference between what's genuine and what's not when it comes to bloggers. A lot of influencers conform and become the person their followers want them to be. They do this by either pretending to like stuff they don't, or endorse things they'd never use. Some people hide parts of themselves from their readers or followers (which is fine) but sometimes it's done to deceive these people or portray an image of innocence. I'm all for keeping parts of my life private but I also share who I am fully with everyone, I don't hide, lie or deceive. Being myself 100% doesn't always work in my favour but at least I don't have to hold up appearances and I'm always free to be who I really am.
And before anyone comments, please note that this isn't directed at anyone, something just made me think about it and I'm sadden that people are scared to be who they really are just because they're so concerned with what others might think. It's enough that we criticize ourselves don't let society dictate who should be. Unless you want to be a murderer, then listen to society lol
Basically I just want to remind everyone that there's nothing better than being who you are (once again - unless you're a psychopath)
