I'm getting lighter and I hate it. 182lbs.. leaning out though, all the time. In AZ with @kylethegirl this week and using this time to eat like 3-4 meals a day instead of 6-7 to give my stomach a little break. It got to the point that I started to feel like maybe I was overdoing it. Constant lethargy, just not feeling great. Anyway, we're both having a great time this week like always.
Spent two and a half hours at the gym last night.. sometimes you just need some space and some weights. It is important to always improve in every aspect of your life. Don't settle, don't quit. Do what you have to to get what you want. I know I'd eat a mile of dirt to get a record deal but I haven't been working hard for that. That's going to change. I have the time, I need the motivation and that's gotta come from within.
Anyway thank you all for keeping up with my journey regardless of what it entails.
17 days without a single cheat. I'm doing as well right now as I was last year during show prep. Some days even better because I'm not working so much and I have the time I need to stay caught up on food. My meals are mostly bro meals but I do IIFYM when necessary although it's nothing anyone would consider out of line. Meal 1: 6oz turkey made into two sandwiches. Sometimes with cheese and pickles!
Meals 2, 3, and 4: 6oz chicken, 1/3 cup of rice
Meal 5(usually post workout): cottage cheese or 2 scoops of protein. Sometimes rice or toast.
Meal 6: 2 scoops of protein
I'm trying super hard right now. Maybe for no reason other than the fact that I'm watching @kylethegirl try so hard too. I'm borderline ketogenic with the low carb thing, sweating absolute buckets all day because of that and the 60-70% humidity we've had all summer. Anyway.. This is easy if you make it easy. I got all the bad shit out of the house. I set a goal and I'm chasing it. You can NOT be successful in bodybuilding if you choose to just get your feet wet. You can NOT reach your goals by easing into it one piece at a time. You leap into that shit. Surprise yourself. Make a change. Blow your mind. But don't ever be afraid of making yourself better. All of that. ALL of it is in your head. Don't be scared to go to the gym or eat healthy or be different than your friends. Be you and better you. A lot of good stuff follows when you do.
She's my best friend and the woman I love. We are fueled by caffeine and dumb jokes. We're just a couple months away from finally being in the same place at the same time forever. We've been making plans.
Find someone who thinks you're perfect every day. Find someone you can't go ten seconds without grabbing onto. Find someone that will laugh with you and isn't afraid to laugh at you. Someone that will still hug you when you smell bad. Someone that pushes you towards your goals. Someone who wants you to have everything you want.
A lot of the reason it's hard to find love is because we are looking so hard for it. Find yourself a best friend. A partner in crime. An adventure buddy. Then fall in love with them when you feel like you have no other choice. Let them raise your dog with you. Let them be your world. Because someone out there is supposed to be. And I hope you all get to find your person like I found my person.
