We got discharged last night and Kel is home and doing well! Still managing pain but obviously that doesn’t keep him from smiling🙂 There is always so much to learn when things like this happen and in every situation good or bad there’s always an opportunity to seek Jesus. Kel’s broken arm was a road bump for us. One of those ugly bumps that causes everyone in the car to fly out of their seats but they quickly come down. Everyone is a little shaken but OK. One of the most amazing things about this unexpected bump was to see Kel’s faith. He had know idea how big or small his break was. But he was scared. I’ve never seen him like that! He had know idea what was going on. He knew to run to me his mommy, but as soon as he got to me he cried out to Jesus. He called on HIM to help. He knew my place as his mom but knew God’s place as God. He asked unashamedly to be prayed for constantly. Right after the break, in the car, urgent care, at PCH, before surgery and after. So with such a horrible situation and as heartbroken we were to see him in pain, and to see him so scared at times we can’t help but to have a full heart because he knows his Savior ❤️ This is just one of the many faith builders he will have in his life and for that I’m so thankful! Thanks to everyone for your sweet words and prayers! I know Kel appreciates them ALL!
