You cannot. I repeat you CANNOT tell me these smart / IOT devices, phones, tablets etc in our homes arent listening to our conversations and funneling that info out. We've noticed this at lot at home over the past few months. Having a convo bout chicken and the next day a sponsored ad for chicken pops up somewhere. Having a convo bout used cars versus new cars and a day or 2 later Cars.com sponsored ads pop up. Even a Convo about tater tots, same thing happened. I chalked it up to the possibility that someone googled something during the convo and google tracked it and we all know how that goes. In this case, there was an hour long convo about changing home automation systems in the new home and debating Control 4 vs Elan vs Crestron. Nothing was googled at all, no websites were visited. The debate was purely verbal. I open Facebook 5 minutes later and THIS IS THERE. I'm not going to go into the legalities or ethics of this and I know this came up with Samsung Smart TV's recently. Amazon also claims they don't do this in regard to Alexa devices listening to your conversations and selling the content to providers. I call BS
tl;dr Big brother is listening and Skynet is coming.
